Site Safety Is Now Offering Sexual Harassment Training
For companies in New York, Sexual Harassment Training is now mandatory. On April 12th, 2018, Governor Cuomo signed into effect the 2019 Women's Opportunity Agenda, which updated New York State's sexual harassment laws. This update mandates that each employee must receive annual training, starting October 9th, 2018.
By October 9th, 2019, ALL EMPLOYEES working in New York are required to be trained on sexual harassment and your company is required to have a Sexual Harassment Policy in place that meets or exceeds the New York State Sexual Harassment Requirements.
We Provide Two Types of Sexual Harassment Training:
1) Incorporating both the current company policy and the mandatory NYS Division of Human Rights requirements, Site Safety will train your employees to ensure your company is in full compliance. This includes a review of your current company policy to ensure your policy is in compliance prior to employee training, as your policy must be referenced during the training.
2) Site Safety will train your designated company personnel on how to properly administer the required sexual harassment training to employees. This training will include models, links, and template compliant forms suggested by the NYS Division of Human Rights. A company policy review is also available upon request.
Do you require assistance in completing the proper employee training?
